McDonald's River War High School All-Star Basketball Game in St. Louis, Missouri highlights high school basketball talent from Missouri and Illinois schools

The Slam-Dunk Contest at McDonald's Riverwar has seen a huge leap of success! With its sixth year in the history books and the 7th Annual event taking place on April 12th, the McDonald's RiverWar, presented by Showtyme Basketball promotes community involvement through basketball.

McDonald's® proudly sponsors this unique event on April 12th, 2008 at the all new SLU Chaifetz Arena located at
#1 South Compton Ave. St. Louis, MO 63103. It will feature some of Missouri and Illinois' top high school senior boys and girls basketball players.

The event consists of three basketball games, an exciting slam-dunk contest, plus entertainment by local performing artists and 2007 McDonald’s R&B Soul Search winner Justin Hoskins.
