St. Louis’ own Annie Malone Children and Family Service Center offers a range of programs and community services to care for children in need, including early childhood education, parenting classes, crisis intervention, psychiatric counseling, and adoption support.

McDonald's® of St. Louis and Metro East has been a proud supporter of The Annie Malone Children and Family Service Center for over 11 years. The 120th annual May Day Parade will take place on May 18th starting at 1pm, on it's 3 year old parade route, Market St. in the heart of downtown. Ronald McDonald & the McDonald’s Street Team will march in the parade again this year and McDonald’s is throwing the post-parade celebration immediately after the parade. This year McDonald’s has partnered up with Café Soul, voted St. Louis’ #1 Open Mic by The RFT in 2007. More info on Café Soul can be found at http://www.myspace.com/cafesoulstl

Cafe Soul's CoCo Soul will host the two-hour neo-soul and blues concert.Follow the parade route to the McDonald's May Day Blues Fest at Kiener Plaza starting at 4pm. This FREE family event highlights some of the area's top neo soul and blues performers. The voice behind Café Soul, CoCo Soul will host this two-hour concert. Justin Hoskins, the 2007 Grand Prize Winner of the McDonald's R&B Soul Search will perform as well as Ms. Shelley Miller the 2007 McDonald’s R&B Soul Search 1st Runner-Up.

McDonald's, a proud supporter of the St. Louis community, will present a $10,000 check to the Annie Malone Center for the third year in a row, which includes a special appearance by Ronald McDonald and the McDonald's Street Team. The Street Team will be passing out FREE coupons for ice cream and other yummy McDonald's menu items.

The Annie Malone May Day Parade is the second largest African American parade in the United States.
