Recipients of the 2010 McDonald's Academic Excellence Award were selected by a committee based upon the following criteria: completed application with essay, interview, academic performance, references, community involvement, financial need and desire to achieve a higher education. Recipients have either already completed or will complete 20 hours of community service at Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club, Herbert Hoover Boys’ & Girls’ Club, or another local community center.
These six deserving 2010 high school seniors will each receive a non-renewable award in the amount of $2,500 towards tuition at their college of choice for the fall 2010 semester. Congratulations to our 2010 Academic Excellence Award winners for all of your achievements! |
